My Approach
Assessment
I complete a comprehensive initial assessment to understand your history, who you are, and what may be impacting how you are feeling.
People often present with:
- Anxiety, depression and stress
- Relationship/family issues
- Nervous system dysregulation
- Workplace/career difficulties.
Personalised Treatment
I provide personalised, evidence-based treatment, primarily using CBT and ACT-based approaches. For relationship issues, I draw on Gottman Method Couple's Therapy principles. I strive to promote empowerment, and in turn, long-term behaviour change.
Focus Between Sessions
I firmly believe in providing a focus or skill to practice in-between sessions. This helps clients reach their goals faster, and this is where the real change happens.
Connection & Empathy
I take the time to truly understand my clients' concerns, empathising deeply and sincerely. I genuinely care about my clients and am motivated by making a difference in people's lives. AI has its place, but your mental health deserves connection with a real, trained psychologist.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is the cornerstone of psychological support. You can expect absolute discretion and your right to privacy and confidentiality to be maintained and respected, in line with our privacy policy.
Subsidised Support
I am a Medicare Registered Provider. This means you may be able to get a GP Mental Healthcare Plan referral to see me, resulting in a rebate of $98.97 per session, for up to 10 sessions with me.
